Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
Last updated: 07/13/2026
Homefront Arms wants every customer to receive the correct product in the condition expected. Because firearms and ammunition are regulated products, some purchases are subject to stricter return requirements than ordinary retail merchandise.
Please inspect all merchandise before accepting delivery or completing a firearm transfer.
Firearm Sales
Before the Firearm Is Transferred
Firearms shipped to another Federal Firearms Licensee must be inspected by the customer at the receiving dealer before completing the transfer paperwork and taking possession.
If the firearm is damaged, materially different from the item ordered, or otherwise unacceptable, do not complete the transfer. Ask the receiving dealer to retain the firearm and contact Homefront Arms immediately.
Eligible firearms refused before transfer may be returned with prior authorization. Unless the return resulted from an error by Homefront Arms LLC or damaged during shipment, the customer is responsible for:
- Return shipping
- Any shipping or transfer fees already incurred
- A 15% restocking fee
No firearm may be returned without prior approval from Homefront Arms.
After the Firearm Is Transferred
All firearm sales are final once the firearm has been transferred to the customer.
Once the customer completes the transfer and takes possession, defects, repair requests, and warranty concerns must generally be handled through the firearm manufacturer. Homefront Arms will make reasonable efforts to help the customer contact the manufacturer and begin a warranty claim.
Used Firearms
Used firearms are sold in their documented condition and should be inspected carefully before transfer.
All used-firearm sales are final once transferred.
Normal cosmetic wear, finish variation, prior use, and conditions disclosed in the product description are not considered defects.
Background-Check Delays or Denials
Placing an order does not guarantee that a firearm can legally be transferred.
If a transfer cannot be completed because of a background-check denial, failure to provide legally required identification or documentation, prohibited-person status, refusal by the receiving FFL, or another issue attributable to the purchaser, the order may be canceled and refunded minus:
- A 15% cancellation or restocking fee
- Original shipping charges
- Return shipping
- Transfer or administrative expenses incurred by Homefront Arms
If a background check is delayed, the transfer will be handled according to applicable federal and state law and the policies of the transferring dealer.

For safety, storage, and chain-of-custody reasons, the following items are final sale and non-returnable:
- Ammunition

- Return shipping and related expenses
Magazines and other restricted products may only be returned when unopened, unused, and otherwise eligible under this policy.

Returned merchandise must be:
- New and unused
- Uninstalled
- In its original packaging
- Complete with manuals, accessories, labels, and included components
- Free of marks, scratches, mounting damage, or alteration
Eligible returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, unless the return resulted from an error by Homefront Arms.

Items showing evidence of installation, firing, modification, improper handling, missing packaging, or missing components will not be accepted.
Electronic Optics and Devices
Optics, electronic sights, lights, lasers, rangefinders, and similar products must be inspected and tested before installation when possible.
